Newberg sits at the edge of wine country, and people here live outdoors when the weather allows — which is more often than visitors think. The projects we build around Newberg lean toward gathering places: paver patios, fire pits, pergolas that shade a long table on a summer evening.
On hillside properties in the Chehalem foothills, the landscape's job is to frame the view, not compete with it. In town, older homes near the college usually want the opposite — privacy, structure, a backyard that works harder. Either way, we design and build it ourselves: stonework, timber structures, plantings, and water.
Our shop is in Aurora, about twenty minutes east past Champoeg. We've built ponds, patios, and timber structures across the valley since 1996, and Newberg has been part of that territory all along.
